FUT Minna Announces 38th Matriculation Ceremony for 2025/2026 Academic Session

About the Event

The management of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT Minna) has announced the schedule for its 38th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The ceremony will formally admit newly enrolled students into the University community.

Ceremony Details

Date: Monday, 16 February 2026

Time: 10:00 a.m.

Venue: Convocation Square, Main Campus, Gidan Kwano

All matriculating students must be seated no later than 9:30 a.m. to ensure an orderly start to the programme.

Rehearsal Information

In preparation for the main event, the University has scheduled a compulsory rehearsal:

Date: Friday, 13 February 2026

Time: 2:30 p.m.

Venue: Convocation Square, Main Campus, Gidan Kwano

Students are strongly advised to attend the rehearsal, as it will provide important guidance on seating arrangements and ceremony procedures.

Collection and Return of Academic Gowns

Matriculating students must collect their academic gowns from their respective School Secretaries on:

Friday, 13 February 2026

To collect the gown, each student must present proof of payment of school fees for the 2025/2026 session.

After the ceremony, students must return the gowns within 24 hours. Failure to do so will attract penalties.
