Nine Academic Staff Members Become Professors at UDUS.

The promoted academics came from a variety of institutions, including the School of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Education and Extension Services, and Health Sciences, according to the special bulletin issued on Friday, June 20, 2025.

The news comes after the University Governing Council, led by Professor Attahiru Muhammad Jega, OFR, accepted the results of the university's most recent promotion process during its 172nd meeting.

Among the recently promoted professors are Dr. Asamau Adamu of the College of Health Sciences, who is now a professor of pediatrics, and Dr. Ibrahim Garba of the School of Medical Laboratory Sciences, who is now a professor of microbiology.
