AKSU Secures NUC Approval for New Pharm.D and 15 Undergraduate Programmes (2025/2026)

The Management of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has announced that the National Universities Commission (NUC), in a letter dated 13 February 2026, approved the commencement of a Full-Time Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) and 15 new undergraduate programmes. The approval takes effect from the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Accordingly, the University now invites qualified candidates to apply online for admission into the newly approved programmes.

Quantity Surveying (B.Sc.)

Surveying and Geoinformatics (B.Sc.)

Project Management (B.Sc.)

Urban and Regional Planning (B.Sc.)

Estate Management (B.Sc.)

Local Government and Development Studies

Peace and Conflict Resolution (B.Sc.)

Fine and Applied Arts (B.Sc.)

Music (B.A.)

Guidance and Counselling (B.Ed.)

Computer Engineering (B.Eng.)

Automotive Engineering (B.Eng.)

Telecommunications Engineering (B.Eng.)

Eligibility Requirements

Pharm.D and Architecture: Minimum UTME score of 265 and AKSU as First Choice.

All other listed programmes: Minimum UTME score of 250.

Candidates who did not initially choose AKSU as First Choice must effect a Change of Institution to AKSU via the JAMB portal immediately.

Only candidates who complete the online screening registration will be considered.
