Sa’adu Zungur University Adjusts Working Hours for Ramadan

The management of Sa’adu Zungur University, Bauchi State, has approved a temporary adjustment to the University’s official working hours in preparation for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.According to an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Registrar, staff and members of the University community will now work from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. throughout the fasting period.
Details of the Memo
The memo, referenced SAZU/REG/ESTB/GC/, was signed by B. M. Sabo (PAR, Establishments) on behalf of the Registrar. Management explained that the adjustment will allow Muslim faithful within the University community to observe the spiritual obligations of Ramadan more comfortably.
The statement noted that the revised schedule aims to support staff and students during the fasting period while maintaining essential academic and administrative activities.
Message from Management
In addition, the University management extended warm wishes to the entire community, expressing hopes for a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan.
On behalf of management, the memo concluded with a goodwill message wishing everyone a “blissful Ramadan Kareem.”
Members of the University community are advised to take note of the new working hours and plan their activities accordingly throughout the fasting month.
