The management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for candidates seeking Admission into the university's undergraduate programmes.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and selected AAUA as their first-choice institution, as well as Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into the university.

AAUA Cut-Off Mark for 2026/2027 Admission

Candidates who scored 160 and above in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply for the admission screening exercise.

However, candidates seeking admission into highly competitive programmes such as Law, Nursing Science, Accounting, Computer Science, Mass Communication, and Economics are advised to aim for higher scores due to competition and limited admission quotas.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the screening exercise, candidates must:

• Choose Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) as their First Choice Institution.

• Obtain a minimum score of 160 in the 2026 UTME.

• Possess at least five (5) O'Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics in relevant subjects.

• Have the correct UTME subject combination for their chosen course.

• Upload their O'Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal.

• Meet all departmental admission requirements.

Candidates awaiting O'Level results may also apply but must ensure that their results are uploaded before admission processing is concluded.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Direct Entry candidates are also eligible to apply provided they possess one of the following qualifications:

• National Diploma (ND)

• Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)

• Higher National Diploma (HND)

• IJMB

• JUPEB

• A-Level Certificates

• First Degree or equivalent qualifications recognized by JAMB.

Important Notice

Candidates who did not initially choose AAUA as their first-choice institution may still apply after processing a Change of Institution through JAMB and selecting Adekunle Ajasin University as their preferred institution.
