ATBU Post-UTME/DE 2026: Cut-Off Mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi has announced the commencement of its online screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

This update is for UTME and Direct Entry candidates who want to apply for Admission into ATBU and are ready to complete their screening registration online.

ATBU Online Screening Date 2026

The ATBU 2026/2027 online screening exercise opens on 13 July 2026.

Candidates are advised to complete their screening early and avoid waiting until the last minute.

Portal traffic, payment delay or wrong details can affect registration, especially when many candidates are trying to apply at the same time.

ATBU Post-UTME Cut-Off Mark 2026

The general cut-off mark for ATBU admission is 160.

This means candidates who scored 160 and above in the 2026 UTME can apply, provided they also meet the requirements for their chosen course.

Who Can Apply?

UTME candidates who scored 160 and above can apply for the ATBU online screening.

Direct Entry candidates who selected ATBU and have the required qualifications can also apply.

Applicants should have at least five relevant O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in subjects related to their chosen course.

Candidates should also make sure their O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS before admission processing begins.

ATBU has warned candidates not to make direct payment on Remita.

All payments for screening fee, admission letter and acceptance letter must start from the official screening portal, which will then lead candidates to the approved payment platform.

Candidates should avoid private accounts, fake admission agents and unofficial links.

Any payment made outside the approved process may cause problems during registration.

How to Register for ATBU Online Screening

Candidates should visit the ATBU screening portal and log in with their JAMB registration number.

After logging in, applicants should follow the instructions on the portal, make the required payment through the approved process and complete the online screening form.

Candidates should upload the required details and documents correctly.

After completing the registration, applicants should print their acknowledgement slip and keep it safe.
