Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta has opened its inter-university transfer application for the 2026/2027 academic session.
This update is for students currently studying in recognised Nigerian universities who want to transfer to FUNAAB and continue their programme in the university.

FUNAAB Inter-University Transfer 2026/2027
The FUNAAB inter-university transfer application will begin on Monday, 13 July 2026.
Eligible students are expected to complete the application through the university admission portal and submit the printed form to the appropriate unit in the school.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must be students of recognised universities in Nigeria.
Candidates must also have gained their original admission through JAMB.
This means students whose admission was not processed through JAMB may not be eligible for the transfer application.

FUNAAB Transfer CGPA Requirements
Candidates applying for Agricultural programmes must have at least 3.00 CGPA on a 5.00-point scale.
Candidates applying for Engineering programmes must have at least 3.50 CGPA on a 5.00-point scale.
Candidates applying for Science programmes must also have at least 3.50 CGPA on a 5.00-point scale.
The required CGPA must be as at the second semester of the current academic session.
Applicants should check their current CGPA carefully before applying because the application fee is non-refundable.
Application Fee
The FUNAAB inter-university transfer application fee is ₦50,000.
The fee includes REMITA processing charges and is non-refundable.
Candidates should make payment only through the approved FUNAAB admission process.
Do not pay money into private accounts or to anyone claiming to help you secure transfer admission.

Interested candidates should complete the transfer application through the FUNAAB admissions portal.

Candidates are expected to access the application platform using the JAMB registration number on their JAMB admission letter.
After completing the online application form, applicants should print the completed form and submit it to the Senate and Admissions Unit of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
Transcript Requirement
Applicants must arrange for their official academic transcript to be sent directly to FUNAAB.
The transcript should be forwarded by the applicant’s current university to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
Candidates should not wait until the last minute before requesting their transcript because transcript processing can take time.
