University of Ibadan has announced its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening registration for the 2026/2027 academic session.
This update is for candidates who want to apply for undergraduate Admission into UI and are ready to complete their registration through the university’s admission portal.

UI Post-UTME/DE Registration Date 2026
The University of Ibadan admission portal will be open for Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration from Monday, 22 June 2026.
The registration will close on Sunday, 19 July 2026.

Candidates should note that the university stated that there will be no extension of the registration period.
Applicants should therefore complete their registration early and avoid waiting until the last day.
UI Post-UTME Examination Date 2026
The UI Post-UTME examination will hold from Monday, 27 July to Wednesday, 29 July 2026.
The exact examination date for each candidate will be communicated later by the university.
Candidates should provide valid email addresses and active phone numbers during registration so they do not miss important information from the school.
UI Post-UTME/DE Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a portal access fee of ₦3,000.
They are also required to pay a screening fee of ₦2,000.
This means the total payment is ₦5,000.
Payment should be made only through the official UI admission portal.
Do not pay money into private accounts or to anyone claiming to help you secure admission.
How to Apply for UI Post-UTME/DE 2026
Candidates should complete their registration through the University of Ibadan admission portal.
Applicants can click here to visit the UI admission portal and follow the instructions provided by the school.
Candidates are expected to log in with their JAMB registration number as username and their surname as the initial password.
After login, applicants should make the required payment, complete the registration and print their payment success receipt.
Important Requirements
Candidates must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026.
Candidates applying to programmes in the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy must have five O’Level credits at one sitting in relevant subjects.
For other programmes, candidates using two O’Level results must have at least six credits in relevant subjects.
Direct Entry candidates should also upload their credentials as instructed by the university.
