Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta has opened applications for inter-university transfer for the 2026/2027 academic session.
This update is for students in other recognised Nigerian universities who want to transfer to FUNAAB and continue their studies in the university.

FUNAAB Inter-University Transfer Application 2026/2027
FUNAAB has invited eligible students from other universities in Nigeria to apply for inter-university transfer into the institution.
The application will begin on Monday, 13 July 2026.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must be currently registered students of recognised universities in Nigeria.
Candidates must also have gained their original admission through JAMB.
This means students who were not admitted through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board may not be eligible for the transfer process.

FUNAAB Transfer CGPA Requirements
Candidates applying for Agricultural programmes must have a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 5.00-point scale.
Candidates applying for Engineering and Science programmes must have a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.00-point scale.
The CGPA must be as at the second semester of the current academic session.
Applicants should confirm that they meet the required CGPA before paying for the transfer form.
Application Fee
The inter-university transfer application fee is ₦50,000.
The fee is non-refundable and includes REMITA charges.
Candidates should make payment only through the approved FUNAAB admission process.
Do not pay money into private accounts or to anyone claiming to help you secure transfer admission.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should visit the FUNAAB admissions portal and read the inter-university transfer guidelines carefully.
Applicants are to log in using the JAMB registration number on their JAMB admission letter.
After filling the online form, candidates should print the completed application form.
The printed form should be submitted to the Senate and Admissions Unit of the university.
Academic Transcript Requirement
Applicants must ensure that their official academic transcript is sent directly to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
