Yobe State University has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2026 Admission exercise.
This update is for candidates who chose Yobe State University as their first-choice institution and have met the required JAMB score for their chosen course.

YSU Post-UTME/DE Screening Date 2026
The Yobe State University Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening registration will start on Wednesday, 8 July 2026.
The registration will close on Saturday, 1 August 2026.

YSU Post-UTME Cut-Off Mark 2026
The general cut-off mark for many courses at Yobe State University is 150.
However, some courses have higher cut-off marks.
Medicine and Surgery requires 225, Nursing Science requires 210, while Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy and Radiography require 200.
Law requires 210, Islamic Law requires 180, while courses like Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, Computer Science and Cyber Security require 170.
Microbiology, Accounting and Public Administration require 160.

Who Can Apply?
Candidates who chose Yobe State University as their first-choice institution can apply.
Applicants must have met the required minimum JAMB score for their chosen course.
Direct Entry candidates who chose YSU and have the required qualifications can also apply.

YSU Screening Fee
The screening fee is ₦2,000 only.
Candidates are expected to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference number and make payment through Remita.
Applicants should print their payment slip after payment.

How to Apply for YSU Post-UTME/DE 2026
Candidates should generate their Remita RRR number and pay the ₦2,000 screening fee.
After payment, applicants should complete their online registration through the YSU Post-UTME portal.
Candidates can click here to visit the YSU screening portal and follow the instructions provided by the university.
Before submitting the form, check your name, JAMB registration number, phone number, course selected, O’Level details and other required information carefully.
Wrong details may affect admission processing.
Required Documents
Candidates are expected to upload the required documents on the portal.
The documents include original UTME result or Direct Entry slip, SSCE result in not more than two sittings, letter of indigene certificate, HND/NCE/ND/DMB result for Direct Entry candidates, primary school leaving certificate and birth certificate or declaration of age.
Applicants should make sure the documents are clear and correct before uploading.
