FUGUSAU Postgraduate Application Form 2026/2027 Session

Federal University Gusau has announced the sale of application forms for Admission into its postgraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

This update is for candidates who want to apply for Postgraduate Diploma, Master’s or Ph.D. programmes at the School of Postgraduate Studies, Federal University Gusau.

FUGUSAU Postgraduate Admission 2026/2027

The School of Postgraduate Studies, Federal University Gusau has invited suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its approved postgraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Interested applicants are required to complete and submit the online application form through the university’s postgraduate portal.

Approved FUGUSAU Postgraduate Programmes

The approved postgraduate programmes are available under the Faculties of Education, Humanities, Management Sciences, Social Sciences and Science.

Faculty of Education

Doctor of Philosophy programmes include Ph.D. Educational Management, Ph.D. Educational Psychology, Ph.D. Guidance and Counselling, Ph.D. Mathematics Education, Ph.D. Research, Measurement and Evaluation, Ph.D. Science Education and Ph.D. Sociology of Education.

Master’s degree programmes include M.Ed. Educational Management, M.Ed. Educational Psychology, M.Ed. Guidance and Counselling, M.Ed. Research, Measurement and Evaluation, M.Ed. Sociology of Education, M.Sc. Ed. Mathematics and M.Sc. Ed. Science Education.

The faculty also offers Postgraduate Diploma in Education.

Faculty of Humanities

Doctor of Philosophy programmes include Ph.D. Arabic Language, Ph.D. Arabic Literature, Ph.D. English Language, Ph.D. English Literature, Ph.D. Hausa Studies, Ph.D. History and International Studies and Ph.D. Islamic Studies.

Master’s degree programmes include M.A. Arabic Language, M.A. Arabic Literature, M.A. English Language, M.A. English Literature, M.A. Hausa Studies, M.A. History and International Studies and M.A. Islamic Studies.

Faculty of Management Sciences

Doctor of Philosophy programme available in the faculty is Ph.D. Business Administration.

Master’s degree programmes include M.Sc. Accounting and Finance, M.Sc. Business Administration, M.Sc. Public Administration, Master of Business Administration and Master of Public Administration.

Postgraduate Diploma programmes include PGD Accounting and Finance, PGD Business Administration and PGD Public Administration.

Faculty of Social Sciences

Doctor of Philosophy programme available in the faculty is Ph.D. Sociology.

Master’s degree programmes include M.Sc. Economics, M.Sc. Political Science, M.Sc. Sociology and Master of International Politics and Diplomacy.

Faculty of Science

Doctor of Philosophy programmes include Ph.D. Biochemistry, Ph.D. Mathematics, Ph.D. Microbiology, Ph.D. Physics, Ph.D. Plant Science and Biotechnology and Ph.D. Zoology.

Master’s degree programmes include M.Sc. Biochemistry, M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Physics, M.Sc. Plant Science and Biotechnology and M.Sc. Zoology.

Postgraduate Diploma programmes include PGD Biochemistry, PGD Biological Sciences, PGD Computer Science and PGD Microbiology.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₦15,000 only.

The fee is non-refundable.

Applicants are to generate an invoice from the FUGUSAU postgraduate application portal before making payment.

Payment can be made at any commercial bank or through the Remita online payment platform.

Candidates should not pay money into private accounts or to anyone claiming to help them secure admission.

How to Apply for FUGUSAU Postgraduate Admission

Applicants should visit the Federal University Gusau postgraduate application portal.

They should generate an invoice for the non-refundable application fee of ₦15,000.

After generating the invoice, applicants should pay the application fee at any commercial bank or through the Remita online payment platform.

After successful payment, candidates should use their Remita Retrieval Reference number as both their username and password to access their application profile.

Applicants should then complete the online application form, upload all required documents and submit the application.

Candidates are also advised to monitor their application dashboard regularly for updates on admission status and printing of admission letters where applicable.

Transcript Requirement

All applicants must arrange for their official academic transcripts to be forwarded directly by their previous institutions.
