On Thursday, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde said that The Polytechnic, Ibadan will be renamed in honor of the late Omololu Olunloyo, a former governor of the state.
At the interdenominational commendation ceremony for the late former governor, which was held at the Obafemi Awolowo stadium in the state capital of Ibadan, he made this news in his succinct words.
"The institution will now be known as Omololu Olunloyo Polytechnic, Ibadan," said Governor Makinde.
