JAMB 2026 Results for April 16th, 17th, and 18th are OUT!

The wait is finally over for the early birds! The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results for candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME during the first three days of the examination window.

This exciting update was confirmed by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, who noted that over 1.8 million results have already been processed and made available for viewing.

How to Check Your 2026 JAMB Result (SMS Method)

At this stage, JAMB has only activated the SMS checking method. The online portal for printing result slips is not yet active. Follow these exact steps to see your score:

The SMS Command:

1. Open your messaging app.

2. Type UTMERESULT (all one word, capital letters).

3. Send it to 55019 or 66019.

⚠️ Critical Requirements:

• The Registered SIM: You must send the SMS from the exact phone number you used during your JAMB registration. Using a different line will result in an error.

• Airtime Balance: Ensure you have at least ₦50 in your airtime balance (not bonus data or bonus credit). Each request attracts a service charge.

• Capital Letters: While some systems are flexible, it is safer to type the command in all caps as shown above.

Important Notices & Security

• Printing vs. Viewing: You can currently view your score via SMS, but official result slip printing (with your passport photograph) is not yet available. JAMB will announce when the portal for printing is activated.

• Privacy First: When sharing your success stories online or in our community, do not share your registration number, full name, or contact details. Protect yourself from scammers.

• No "Score Upgrading": Ignore anyone claiming they can "upgrade" your JAMB score. These are scams. Your official score is what comes directly from the 55019 or 66019 shortcodes.
