According to the report, the candidates were selected through a merit-based process coordinated by JAMB.
Who Are the Awardees?
The seven beneficiaries include candidates selected from the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria.
The seventh award will go to the highest-performing admitted candidate living with a disability.
This means the award is not only focused on academic excellence, but also recognises inclusion and equal opportunity for students with disabilities.
The awardees are drawn from institutions including the University of Lagos, University of Uyo, Federal University of Technology Owerri, Federal University of Applied Sciences Kachia, University of Maiduguri and Federal University of Technology Minna.
Why the Award Matters
The award is a strong encouragement to students preparing for admission into higher institutions.
It shows that doing well in JAMB alone is important, but candidates must also take Post-UTME, screening and school admission requirements seriously.
Candidates preparing for admission can check admission updates here so they do not miss important school screening information.
Important Lesson for Students
Students preparing for JAMB should not study only to meet the cut-off mark.
A high UTME score can improve your admission chances and may also qualify you for scholarships, awards and other academic opportunities.
Candidates should also prepare well for Post-UTME or school screening because many institutions still use screening performance during admission consideration.
A smart way to prepare is to click here to practise CBT-style questions on ALLCBTs before JAMB, Post-UTME or any school screening test.
Advice to Parents and Schools
Parents and schools should encourage students to take examinations seriously from the beginning.
Students who are properly guided before JAMB and Post-UTME usually have better chances of gaining admission into competitive courses.

ALLCBTs Advice to Candidates
