AFSU Aliero Cut-Off Marks 2026/2027

The university has released the approved cut-off marks for UTME and Direct Entry candidates.

The cut-off marks are arranged according to programme, catchment area, ELDS and national merit.

This means candidates should not only check the general score for their course, but also confirm the category that applies to them.

For many courses in Agriculture, Education and some science-related programmes, the cut-off mark starts from 150 for catchment and ELDS candidates, while national merit may be higher.

Some courses such as Biochemistry, Microbiology, Computer Science, Engineering and health-related programmes may require higher scores.

Candidates who wrote JAMB-2026">JAMB should check the approved cut-off mark for their chosen course before waiting for the next admission stage.

Who Should Check the Cut-Off Marks?

All candidates who selected Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero for the 2026/2027 admission exercise should check the cut-off marks.

This is important for UTME candidates and Direct Entry applicants.

Candidates who scored below the approved mark for their chosen course may need to consider a change of course, depending on the school’s admission guidelines.

Meeting the cut-off mark does not automatically mean admission has been given. It only means the candidate may be considered for the next stage of the admission process.

Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry candidates should also take note of the approved requirements.

The table includes Direct Entry categories such as NCE, IJMB, diploma or ND, and internal admission requirements where applicable.

DE applicants should make sure their qualifications match the course they want to apply for.

Candidates should also confirm that their details and results are properly uploaded on JAMB CAPS before admission processing begins.

What Candidates Should Do Next

Candidates should check the cut-off mark for their course and compare it with their UTME score.

If your score meets the mark for your chosen course, you should start preparing for the next admission step.

If your score is below the requirement, do not wait until it is too late. You may need to consider another course with a lower cut-off mark if the school allows it.

Candidates should also keep checking the university portal and JAMB CAPS for further updates.
