NECO has released the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination results.
This update is for JSS3 students, parents and schools that took part in the 2026 BECE, also known by many students as Junior WAEC.

NECO 2026 BECE Result
The National Examinations Council announced the release of the 2026 BECE results after the conclusion of the BECE Award Committee meeting held at the council’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State.

According to NECO, 186,291 candidates registered for the examination.
The candidates sat for 12 subjects across the 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory and five foreign countries.
The 2026 BECE started on 20 April 2026 and ended on 30 April 2026.

NECO has also announced the dates for the 2026 BECE re-sit examination.
The re-sit examination will hold on 22 and 23 July 2026.
