Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye has opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening registration for the 2026/2027 academic session.

This update is important for candidates who selected OOU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME, as well as Direct Entry applicants who want to gain Admission into the university.

Candidates who are interested in OOU admission should complete their registration early and avoid waiting until the closing date.

OOU Post-UTME Cut-Off Mark 2026

The general cut-off mark for OOU Post-UTME registration is 160.

This means candidates who scored 160 and above in the 2026 UTME can apply, provided they also meet the other admission requirements for their chosen course.

However, candidates should understand that scoring 160 only makes them eligible to register. Competitive courses may require higher scores before a candidate can stand a strong chance of admission.

Courses such as Medicine, Law, Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering, Accounting, Computer Science and other highly competitive programmes usually require stronger UTME and Post-UTME performance.

Who Can Apply for OOU Post-UTME/DE 2026?

Candidates who wish to apply for the OOU 2026/2027 admission screening must meet the following conditions:

  • Candidates must have selected Olabisi Onabanjo University as their first-choice institution in JAMB.

  • UTME candidates must have scored at least 160 in the 2026 UTME.

  • Candidates must possess the required O’Level credits for their chosen course.

  • Applicants must have the correct UTME subject combination for their intended programme.

  • Direct Entry candidates must have completed JAMB Direct Entry registration and must possess the required academic qualifications.

  • Candidates who did not initially choose OOU must first change their institution to OOU on JAMB CAPS before applying.

Applicants should not ignore the O’Level and subject combination requirements. A candidate may score high in JAMB and still lose admission if the required subjects are not correct.

OOU Post-UTME/DE Application Fee

The OOU Post-UTME/DE application fee is ₦2,000 only.

Candidates should make payment only through the official OOU admission portal or approved payment process.

Do not pay money into a private account or give money to anyone claiming to guarantee admission. Admission is not sold, and candidates should avoid fraudsters.

OOU Post-UTME Registration Deadline 2026

The closing date for OOU Post-UTME/DE registration is 22 July 2026.

Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline.

Waiting until the final day can be risky because admission portals may become slow when many candidates are trying to register at the same time.

How to Apply for OOU Post-UTME/DE 2026

Candidates should visit the official OOU Post-UTME registration portal and log in with their JAMB registration number.

Applicants should complete the online form carefully, provide correct personal and academic details, upload required documents, submit the application, and print their screening slip.

During registration, candidates should make sure their details match what they have on JAMB CAPS.

Before submitting the form, check the following carefully:

  • JAMB registration number

  • Full name

  • Date of birth

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • UTME score

  • Course selected

  • O’Level subjects and grades

  • JAMB subject combination

  • Passport photograph

  • Direct Entry qualification, where applicable

Mistakes in important details may affect the admission process.

Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry candidates are also expected to register for the screening exercise.

DE applicants should ensure that their JAMB Direct Entry registration is complete and that their academic qualifications are valid for the course they are applying for.

Candidates may also need to provide qualifications such as OND, NCE, HND, A’Level, JUPEB, IJMB or other accepted certificates, depending on the programme.

Important Notice on O’Level Results

Candidates should make sure their O’Level results are correctly uploaded on JAMB CAPS.

Uploading results only on the school portal may not be enough. JAMB CAPS is very important during admission processing, and schools use it to verify candidates before offering admission.

If your O’Level result is not visible on JAMB CAPS, visit an accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office to upload it properly.

OOU Screening Exercise

OOU Post-UTME screening is part of the final selection process for admission.

Candidates should keep checking the OOU admission portal for their screening date, time, venue and other instructions after registration.

Applicants should also print and keep their screening slip safe, because it may be required during the screening exercise.

Prepare Smartly Before the Screening

Candidates who are serious about OOU admission should not wait until the screening timetable is released before they begin preparation.

One helpful step is to practise regularly with CBT-style past questions on ALLCBTs. This can help candidates get used to answering questions under exam conditions and improve their speed before the actual screening.

Students who need notebooks, study materials, school items or exam preparation resources can also check the ALLCBTs student shop. For candidates who want to stay close to other aspirants, share updates or ask questions, joining relevant exam and school groups can also be useful.

How to Prepare for OOU Post-UTME

Candidates should begin preparation immediately after registration.

Do not wait until the screening date is close before you start reading. OOU is a competitive university, and candidates who prepare early usually have a better chance.

Focus on your UTME subject combination and practise Post-UTME-style questions under timed conditions.

Also revise English Language, general reasoning and your main subject areas depending on your course.

Important Advice for OOU Aspirants

If you are applying for OOU admission this year, take every step seriously.

Make sure OOU is your first-choice institution, upload your O’Level result on JAMB CAPS, confirm your subject combination and complete your Post-UTME registration before the deadline.

Candidates applying for competitive courses should aim for a strong Post-UTME score because the minimum cut-off mark may not be enough for admission into highly demanded programmes.

Also, keep checking the official OOU portal and your email for further screening updates.

ALLCBTs Advice to Candidates

Admission does not end after writing JAMB. You still need to complete your school screening, prepare well for Post-UTME and monitor your admission status on JAMB CAPS.

If you want to improve your chances, start practising early and stay updated with reliable admission information.

ALLCBTs will continue to share Post-UTME updates, admission news, JAMB CAPS guides, school screening information and exam preparation resources to help Nigerian students stay informed and ready.
