The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Umaru Dikko Radda, Ph.D., has demonstrated an impressive dedication to educational excellence by fulfilling the commitment he made at the Federal Polytechnic Daura's second convocation ceremony on April 26, 2025.

As promised, the 14 top graduating ND students from the 2023–2024 academic year each received ₦500,000 from the governor.

On May 29, 2025, the Federal Polytechnic Daura Permanent Site Auditorium hosted the formal presentation event. His Excellency sent a strong team to give the prizes, headed by Director of Finance and Accounts Alhaji Hamza Abdulazeez and Commissioner for Higher, Technical, and Vocational Education Alhaji Isah Muhammad Musa of Katsina State.

This award serves as a reminder that diligence, self-control, and hard work will always be valued in addition to rewarding academic achievement. He urged the recipients to stay committed.
