Niger Delta University (NDU) Post-UTME/DE 2026: Cut-Off Mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

NDU Cut-Off Mark for 2026/2027 Admission

To be eligible for the admission screening exercise, candidates must have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME. Candidates who meet or exceed the prescribed cut-off mark are qualified to participate in the screening exercise.

However, candidates seeking admission into highly competitive programmes such as Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, Law, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, and Engineering are advised to aim for significantly higher scores due to competition for available admission slots.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into NDU must:

• Choose Niger Delta University (NDU) as their First Choice Institution.

• Obtain a minimum score of 150 in the 2026 UTME.

• Possess at least five (5) O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects.

• Have the appropriate UTME subject combination for their chosen course.

• Upload their O'Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal.

• Meet all departmental admission requirements.

Candidates awaiting O'Level results may also apply but must upload their results before admission processing is concluded.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Direct Entry candidates are also eligible to apply provided they possess relevant qualifications such as:

• National Diploma (ND)

• Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)

• Higher National Diploma (HND)

• IJMB

• JUPEB

• A-Level Certificates

• First Degree or equivalent qualifications recognized by JAMB.

Screening Method

NDU conducts an online admission screening exercise for UTME and Direct Entry candidates.

2. Enter their JAMB Registration Number.

3. Generate a payment invoice.

4. Pay the prescribed screening fee.

Important Notice

Candidates who did not initially choose Niger Delta University as their first-choice institution may still apply after processing a Change of Institution through JAMB and selecting NDU as their preferred institution.

Applicants are also advised to upload their O'Level results on JAMB CAPS, as candidates whose results are not available on the platform may not be considered for admission.
