UNIPORT 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Form Out: Cut-Off Mark, Dates, and How to Apply

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has officially commenced its online registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise. The announcement was made by the University Registrar, Mrs. Gloria O. Chindah (PhD).

Registration opens today, Friday, 15th May, 2026, and will run for exactly two weeks. Candidates who chose UNIPORT as their first choice and met the score requirements can now proceed with their applications online.

  • Note: If you chose UNIPORT as a second choice, you are only eligible if you execute a "Change of Institution" to make UNIPORT your first choice before applying.

• Age Limit: Candidates must be 16 years of age or older by September 30, 2026.

• O'Level Upload: You must upload your O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) as soon as possible. Failure to do so will automatically disqualify you from Admission consideration.

 Step-by-Step Application Procedure

You do not need to be physically present on the UNIPORT campus to register; the entire process is online:

1. Log In: Go to www.uniport.edu.ng and navigate to the Post-UTME portal.

2. Verify Details: Input your UTME Registration Number to confirm your pre-loaded JAMB details.

3. Generate Invoice: Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code.

4. Make Payment: Pay the ₦2,000 fee online using your ATM card, or print out the payment slip and pay at any bank branch via the Remita platform.

5. Confirm Payment: Obtain your Remita Receipt showing an Access Code from the bank teller (or copy it from your online receipt).

6. Complete the Form: Log back into the portal using your UTME Number and the Access Code to fill out the form.

7. Submit & Print: Click "Submit" and print your Screening Exercise Registration Slip.

 Critical Warnings for Exam Day

The exact dates and schedules for the physical screening will be announced down the line. However, the university has made the following safety and security regulations clear:

⚠️ Strictly Prohibited: Mobile phones, iPads, iPods, smartwatches, or any similar electronic gadgets are completely banned from the screening venue and its surrounding environment.

⚠️ No Guests Allowed: Parents, guardians, and uninvited security personnel will not be allowed access to the campus grounds on the days of the screening exercise.
