University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES) Post-UTME/DE 2026: Cut-Off Mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

The management of the University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES), Umuagwo, Imo State, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Admission exercise for suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate programmes. Candidates who meet the admission requirements are invited to apply through the university's admission portal.

UAES is a state-owned university established to provide quality education in agriculture, environmental sciences, engineering, computing, management sciences, and related disciplines. The university has continued to expand its academic programmes and facilities since its establishment.

UAES Cut-Off Mark for 2026/2027 Admission

To be eligible for the admission screening exercise, candidates must have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Only candidates who meet the prescribed cut-off mark will be considered for admission into the university's various programmes.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates awaiting O'Level results may also apply, but they will only be considered for admission once their results become available.

Candidates Who Did Not Choose UAES

Candidates who did not initially select UAES as their first-choice institution may still apply. However, such candidates must process a Change of Institution through JAMB and make UAES their first-choice institution before admission can be finalized.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Direct Entry candidates are also invited to apply for admission into 200-level programmes.

Applicants must possess relevant qualifications such as:

  • National Diploma (ND)

  • Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)

  • Higher National Diploma (HND)

  • IJMB

  • JUPEB

  • A-Level Certificates

  • Other qualifications recognized by JAMB.

Registration Procedure

Eligible candidates should:

  1. Visit the UAES admission portal.

  2. Complete the online application form.

  3. Upload all required credentials and supporting documents.

  4. Submit the application online.

  5. Print the acknowledgement slip for future reference.

Candidates who changed their institution to UAES are also advised to forward their admission details to the university's admission office as directed by the institution.

Screening Method

UAES conducts an admission screening exercise based on candidates' UTME scores, O'Level results, and other admission requirements approved by the university. Candidates are advised to ensure that all information supplied during registration is accurate and verifiable.

Important Notice

The university has advised candidates to complete all JAMB Change of Institution processes before proceeding with their application. Applicants should also ensure that their O'Level results are properly uploaded on JAMB CAPS, as failure to do so may affect admission consideration.
