Southern Delta University Announces Maiden Convocation Ceremony Schedule (2024/2025 Session)

Southern Delta University, Ozoro (formerly Delta State University of Science and Technology) has released the full schedule for its maiden convocation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session.

According to an official bulletin issued on Monday, 9 February 2026 (S.E. Vol. 1, No. 208), the week-long activities will begin on Sunday, 22 February 2026, and conclude on Sunday, 1 March 2026.

Adjustment to Main Convocation Date

Importantly, the University Management has adjusted the date for the main Convocation Ceremony.

The Convocation, Awards of Prizes, and Commissioning of Projects, which was earlier scheduled for Friday, 27 February 2026, will now hold on:

Saturday, 28 February 2026

The University made this adjustment to ensure better coordination and to enhance participation by the Visitor to the University, Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State.

All other arrangements remain unchanged.
