Date: Mar 11, 2026
About the Event
The University Management has approved the conduct of the rescheduled 14th Matriculation Ceremony, which will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The decision followed the Management meeting held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.Students Expected to Participate
The matriculation ceremony will cover:
All newly admitted 100-level students for the 2025/2026 academic session
Students who transferred into the University during the same session
Students who deferred admission in the 2024/2025 session without matriculating
Registration Directive from the Vice-Chancellor
The Vice-Chancellor has instructed all staff involved in registration to accelerate the process. Specifically, eligible freshmen who have paid their basic fees must complete registration and receive their matriculation numbers before the ceremony.
Because matriculation marks the official end of the registration exercise, departments must ensure no qualified student remains unregistered.
Important Notice for Students
Registered students may obtain their matriculation numbers even if they have not paid all approved fees. However, eligibility to sit for examinations depends on full payment of all required ancillary charges.
Therefore, first-year students should complete registration and secure their matriculation numbers before matriculation day. Students who fail to do so risk forfeiting their admission.
The University Management wishes all affected students a successful matriculation exercise.
