The Management of IBBU denies the alleged attack on its students. Regarding purported assaults and rape occurrences involving Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai students, the administration of the university wants to firmly disassociate itself from the inaccurate and misleading information that is now making the rounds on social media.

It is advised that the general people, and social media users in particular, check any information before disseminating it on any platform and refrain from sensationalism as these practices only serve to increase needless anxiety and confusion.

Any individual who is discovered to have been directly or indirectly engaged in any kind of criminal activity shall face appropriate consequences.
