Reason for the Adjustment
According to the memo, the Chairman of the Senate approved the change due to delays in the commencement of lectures in some courses. In addition, the approaching Ramadan fasting period influenced the decision.
By adjusting the calendar, the University aims to ensure better academic flow and allow adequate time for lecture coverage before the break.
Directive to the University Community
The University has directed all faculties, departments, and units to take note of the new arrangement and comply accordingly.
Shehu Saleh, Academic Secretary, signed the memo on behalf of the Registrar.
