Scholarship 2024/2025 for Nigerian Undergraduate Students (N160 Million Scholarship Fund) – Opportunities For Africans" style="width:610px;height:auto"/>The application portal for the 2025 Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship is now open. This programme encourages academic excellence and supports Nigerian students financially as they pursue their dreams in higher institutions.
Stanbic IBTC has set aside ₦160 million to support 200 undergraduates across Nigeria’s 36 states and the FCT. Each winner will receive funding for four academic years, subject to maintaining a strong academic record and good conduct.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Reside in Nigeria.
- Score 250 and above in the 2025 UTME.
- Gain admission into a federal or state university in Nigeria.
- Provide evidence of proper enrollment.
Note: The scholarship does not apply to employees of Stanbic IBTC or their immediate family members.

- O’Level result (WAEC, NECO, or GCE).
- Statement of result or certificate.
- JAMB/University admission letter.

Multiple entries will not increase your chances. Only one scholarship slot is allowed per candidate.
Selection Process
- A total of 200 successful applicants will be chosen across all states and the FCT.
- Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Beneficiaries must maintain a second-class upper (3.5/5.0 CGPA or equivalent) and provide a letter of good conduct from their department annually.
Retention Rules
To retain the scholarship, beneficiaries must:
- Stay enrolled in their programme of study.
- Maintain the required CGPA each year.
- Provide an annual report on how funds were used.
- Adhere to university policies and scholarship terms.
Failure to meet these conditions could result in termination or repayment of funds.
