22-year-old graduated from a U.S. university with double degrees.

22-year-old Joy Watson graduated as the top graduating student, after obtaining two bachelor's degrees in mathematics and mechanical engineering technology, with a minor in dance, and was awarded Virginia State University's finest graduating student in the United States.

Her remarkable university path includes more than just her academic achievements. Joy headed student organizations, participated in honor societies and fellowships, interned at prestigious firms, served as the 94th Miss Virginia State University, and volunteered while keeping a flawless 4.0 GPA.

Joy's accomplishments earned her a fully financed 12-month scholarship to her alma institution to pursue a Master of Science in Mathematics. She wants to get a Ph.D. and work as a professor after finishing her master's degree.

Joy is appreciative of her sponsors and promotes continued assistance for students' achievement via community activities, internships, scholarships, and mentoring.
