FULOKOJA Directs Students to Rectify Admission Record Discrepancies
Published on Apr 22, 2026 • Education
The Management of Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) has issued a critical internal memorandum regarding discrepancies in undergraduate admission records.
Signed by the Deputy Registrar (Admissions), Mercy Odumuh, the directive requires immediate action from students whose official JAMB Admission Letter does not match their current Programme of Study at the university.
Failure to rectify these records can lead to significant issues with graduation clearance, NYSC mobilization, and official transcript processing.
Is Your Record Affected?
This directive specifically targets undergraduate students who find themselves in the following situation:
-
Your current department/course in FULOKOJA is different from the course printed on your original JAMB Admission Letter.
If your records are consistent, no action is required.
Two-Step Rectification Process
To ensure your data aligns with the national JAMB database, you must follow these steps immediately:
-
Formal Application: Visit the JAMB Zonal Office in Lokoja to formally apply for a Change of Programme.
-
Document Submission: Once the process at the JAMB office is initiated, submit a physical hard copy of the completed Change of Programme form to the Admissions Division.
Submission Location: Admissions Division, Senate Building, Felele Campus.

Important Deadline
The university administration has emphasized the "utmost urgency" of this exercise. FULOKOJA will take over the final processing with JAMB once your hard copy is received, but you must meet the following cutoff:
Submission Deadline: Friday, April 24, 2026
Please Note: With the deadline just two days away, affected students are advised to head to the JAMB office and the Felele Campus Senate Building without delay.
Why This Matters
Alignment between your University and JAMB records is a non-negotiable requirement for the Nigerian education system. If your "Programme of Study" is not updated on the JAMB portal:
-
You may not appear on the official JAMB matriculation list.
-
You will face "No Admission" errors during NYSC registration.
-
Your degree may be considered invalid by external bodies.
