Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has announced details for its 2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.
This update is important for candidates who selected OAU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME, as well as Direct Entry applicants hoping to gain Admission into the university for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to the admission information, OAU Post-UTME/DE registration begins on Tuesday, 16 June 2026 and will close on Friday, 14 August 2026.

Who Is Eligible for OAU Post-UTME/DE 2026?
To apply for the OAU 2026 Post-UTME screening, UTME candidates must meet the following conditions:
- They must have chosen Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife as their first-choice institution.
- They must have scored 200 and above in the 2026 UTME.
- Direct Entry candidates who applied to OAU are also eligible to register.
Candidates are advised to make sure their details are correct before completing the registration process, because wrong information or false credentials may lead to disqualification.

How to Register for OAU Post-UTME/DE 2026
Candidates are to complete their registration through the OAU undergraduate admissions portal.
To begin the process, applicants should visit the OAU admission portal and select the option to verify their details. They will be required to provide their JAMB registration number, email address and phone number.
After entering the required details, the candidate’s name should appear automatically. Candidates can then confirm their information and proceed to payment.
Payment can be made through the available payment options on the portal, including card payment, bank transfer, USSD or bank payment.
After successful payment confirmation, login details will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
Candidates who do not receive their login details should return to the admission portal, click on the payment confirmation option, and validate their payment using their JAMB registration number or email address.
Once login details have been received, applicants should return to the portal, log in with their JAMB registration number and password, complete the application form, review all information carefully, and submit the application.
OAU Post-UTME Screening Fee 2026
The OAU Post-UTME screening fee is ₦2,000 only, excluding portal access charges.
Candidates should avoid making payment through unofficial persons or admission agents. All registration should be done through the approved university admission portal.
OAU Post-UTME Screening Schedule 2026
Candidates are expected to check their screening schedule on the OAU admission portal from Monday, 24 August 2026.
The physical Post-UTME screening exercise is scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 1 September to Saturday, 5 September 2026.
Applicants should take note that the screening will be conducted physically at designated locations. This means candidates must be available on their assigned date and time.
