UI 2026/2027 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Registration

The management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has officially announced the commencement of registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Admission screening exercise.

 Eligibility Requirements

• UTME Score: Candidates must have scored a minimum of 200 in the 2026 UTME.

• Age Requirement: Candidates must attain the age of 16 years by September 30, 2026.

• O'Level Credentials:

  • College of Medicine & Faculty of Pharmacy: Must possess five (5) credits at one sitting in relevant subjects.

  • Other Programmes: Candidates with two O'Level results must have at least six (6) credits in relevant subjects.

• Direct Entry (DE): The University of Ibadan does not accept IJMB or JUPEP results. Accepted qualifications include WAEC, NECO, Cambridge Advance Level, NCE, ND, HND, and Degree certificates from recognized institutions.

 Payment & Registration Procedures

1. Access the Portal: Visit admissions.ui.edu.ng.

2. Login: Use your JAMB Registration Number as the Username and your Surname as the initial password (e.g., OYESANMI).

3. Fees: Pay a total of ₦5,000.00 (₦3,000.00 portal access fee + ₦2,000.00 screening fee) via the portal.

4. Payment Options:

   • Card: Credit/Debit card payment via ATM.

   • Bank Transfer: Internet banking direct debit.

   • Bank Branch: Print the invoice from the portal and pay at any bank branch.

5. Receipt: Ensure you print your payment success receipt.

 Important Notes

• Direct Entry Candidates: In addition to the online registration, DE candidates must upload their credentials to ugadmissions@stu.ui.edu.ng.

• Contact Information: Candidates are strictly advised to provide valid, active email addresses and functional phone numbers, as the university will not be responsible for missed information due to invalid contact details.

• Past Questions: Candidates are encouraged to prepare adequately using the official UI Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers.

• Matriculating Subjects: Please verify that your subjects meet university requirements by checking the official List of Matriculating Subjects on the university website.
