 Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this tuition fee waiver, you must meet the following criteria:

• International Status: You must be classified as an international student for fee purposes.

• Programme: You must be starting a full-time, campus-based undergraduate programme at the University of Leicester (UK campus) in September 2026.

  • Note: Programmes like Medicine, LLB Maitrise, STEM International Foundation, Biological Sciences International Foundation, "International Year 1" courses, and programmes exceeding three years in duration are excluded.

• Application Status: You must have made the University of Leicester your ‘firm choice’ by 30 June 2026.

• Academic Achievement: You must achieve grades equivalent to two grades above the standard A-level entry requirement for your specific course (e.g., if the requirement is ABB, you need the equivalent of AAA).

• Conditions: All offer conditions must be met no later than Thursday, 20 August 2026.

 How to Apply

To be considered, you must submit a short video (maximum two minutes) addressing the following:

1. Future Goals: What do you want to achieve after university?

2. Course Impact: How will your chosen degree help you achieve these goals?

3. Community Contribution: How will you contribute to the University of Leicester community?

Application Tips:

• You do not need to be in the video personally if you are uncomfortable doing so.

• The university focuses on your thought process, creativity, and the "impact" you aim to make (in line with the university's "Citizens of Change" values).

• Along with the video, the university will consider your Personal Statement and any extracurricular activities listed in your application form.

• Submit your video as a link (Google Drive, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) within the official application form on the university's portal.

 Important Notes

• This Scholarship cannot be combined with other University of Leicester scholarships or discounts (you will receive the higher value award if you qualify for more than one).

• The waiver applies to tuition fees only; you are still responsible for your accommodation and living expenses.

• If you defer your place, the scholarship offer will no longer be valid.
