Crescent University, Abeokuta (CUAB) Post-UTME/DE 2026: Cut-Off Mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

The management of Crescent University, Abeokuta (CUAB), Ogun State, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Admission exercise for suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the university's undergraduate programmes.

Applications are invited from UTME and Direct Entry candidates who meet the university's admission requirements. Candidates who did not initially choose Crescent University as their first-choice institution may also apply, provided they process a Change of Institution through JAMB.

Crescent University Cut-Off Mark for 2026/2027 Admission

The university has approved the following minimum UTME scores for admission:

Candidates who meet the required cut-off mark for their chosen programme are eligible to apply for the admission screening exercise.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for admission, candidates must:

  • Have participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

  • Obtain a minimum score of 150 for most programmes.

  • Obtain at least 180 for Law and Nursing Science.

  • Possess at least five (5) O'Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics.

  • Obtain the required credits in not more than two sittings.

  • Meet the subject combination requirements for their chosen programme.

  • Be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026.

  • Upload all required credentials during the admission process.

Candidates awaiting O'Level results may also apply.

Candidates Who Did Not Choose Crescent University

Candidates who did not initially select Crescent University as their first-choice institution can still apply for admission.

Such candidates must process a Change of Institution through any accredited JAMB CBT Centre and select Crescent University as their first-choice institution before admission can be finalized.

Direct Entry (DE) Admission

Direct Entry candidates are eligible to apply provided they possess one of the following qualifications:

  • National Diploma (ND)

  • Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)

  • Higher National Diploma (HND)

  • IJMB

  • JUPEB

  • Two Advanced Level passes in relevant subjects

  • Other qualifications recognized by JAMB.

Candidates may be admitted into 200 Level subject to meeting the university's admission requirements and passing the required screening process.

Screening Exercise

The university conducts Post-UTME screening for all applicants.

Daily screening exercises are conducted for most departments, while candidates applying for Law, Nursing Science, and Computer Science may be scheduled for additional interviews and screening sessions.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay:

  • ₦2,000 Admission Processing Fee

  • ₦1,000 Screening Fee

Payments should be made through the university's approved channels and admission portal.

  • O'Level Result(s)

  • JAMB Result Slip

  • Birth Certificate

  • NIN Slip

  • Local Government Certificate of Origin

  • Two Reference Letters addressed to the Registrar

  • Twelve Passport Photographs

  • Evidence of payment of admission processing fee.

How to Apply

Candidates should:

  1. Visit the Crescent University admission portal.

  2. Complete the online application form.

  3. Upload all required credentials and supporting documents.

  4. Pay the prescribed application and screening fees.

  5. Submit the completed application.

  6. Participate in the screening exercise when invited.
