The management of Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU), Ogboko, Imo State, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for Admission into its undergraduate programmes. The university invites suitably qualified candidates to apply through its online admission portal.

Applications are open to candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and meet the minimum admission requirements prescribed by the institution.

KOMU Cut-Off Mark for 2026/2027 Admission

Candidates who scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply for the admission screening exercise. The university has stated that applicants must meet the required score for their chosen programme before they can be considered for admission.

However, some professional and highly competitive programmes may require higher scores. For example, Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, Law, and Medical Laboratory Science are expected to attract higher admission benchmarks.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the screening exercise, candidates must:

  • Have sat for the 2026 UTME.

  • Obtain a minimum score of 150 in the examination.

  • Possess at least five (5) O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects.

  • Upload their O'Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Candidates Who Did Not Choose KOMU

Candidates who did not initially select Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University as their first-choice institution can still apply.

Such candidates are required to process a Change of Institution through JAMB and make KOMU their first-choice institution before admission can be finalized.

Direct Entry candidates are also eligible to apply provided they possess any of the following qualifications:
